The 24th Annual Hillsboro Cotton Pickin’ Fair
will be September 25th and 26th in Historic Downtown Hillsboro along Covington and Franklin Streets. This year’s Fair is featuring one of the best music lineups in Central Texas with Bri Bagwell and Thieving Birds kicking things off at 8pm on Friday night with a concert and street dance at the Shooter FM Main Stage at the corner of Franklin and Covington Streets. Starting at 10am on Saturday, there will be over 60 arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, a New Car & Tractor show, IBCA Texas State Championship BBQ Cook-Off, and activities for all ages. Bossier Chrysler Dodge Jeep will be sponsoring a Carnival and Western Show along Covington Street and the Brookshire’s Parking lot with a full carnival including midway games and the Western Show will feature bull-riding. Bossier will also be giving away a YETI cooler on the hour at the Fair and all who test drive a RAM will be entered to win. They also will be giving away YETI Tumblers and other rewards for those who test drive In addition, the great music will continue throughout the day on Saturday with groups like Mike and the Moonpies, Mike Morgan & the Crawl, The Morticians, Conjunto Baraja de Oro, Meagan Vaughn, JLD, and Vesperam performing throughout the day.
In addition to Fair activities, there will be a Tejano Rodeo from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, September 27th and the Carnival will be open in the evenings beginning on Thursday, September 24th through Sunday.
